that’s pretty much how i feel about it too. When John’s not happy I’m not happy, and he left during the recording, so I feel less connection to it. But I’m glad he DID leave, in a way, so he could get sober for good.
that’s also true, and that is a very good thing!
it’s really fascinating to me how i’m able to look back on everything and see how it all fell into place, but i can’t imagine how strange it must have been watching all of this as it happened.
