I like Pop Trash, but I agree that it can be a downer. But Someone Else Not Me is a beautiful, melancholy song. And I like how trippy the rest of the album is.
i completely agree - someone else not me is beautiful. it breaks my heart every time i hear it, and i love it. but…i dunno. it also sets the tone of the album for me and i just can’t bring myself to listen any further. maybe i’ll give it a try again at some point.

that’s pretty much how i feel about it too. When John’s not happy I’m not happy, and he left during the recording, so I feel less connection to it. But I’m glad he DID leave, in a way, so he could get sober for good.
